To everyone who has a problem with the "GoGo" button, I might have a resolution. I was modding my console today and ran into the same "text" window issue. I looked into the written guide and checked the troubleshooting page and I managed to make it work! If you have this error - make sure that your date and time are set to the current one, if not - set it up and try the whole browser step again. The second resolution is the one that helped me - change the language of the console to a different one. For example - my console was set to english so I changed it to Spanish, but before you do that, reset the save data in your browser so it's clean and like brand new, then change the language, go to the browser and repeat the whole QR code section. That worked for me, it showed me the same "text" window but then after few seconds the screen started to flash colors and the rest of the modding went smooth. Changing the language is not such a big bother since all the modding sections will be in english, and you can look up what to click in the video or use a translator, after I modded the console successfuly I changed the language back to english and it's all good :D Sorry if I made some spelling mistakes but english is not my first language >< I hope it's gonna help someone~ ^^

I recommend you make a video to restore homebrew if your console was previously bricked, I figured it out myself but it would be nice for most people.

For the people that get the "An error has occurred. Please save your data in any software currently in use, then restart the system." error. I had the same problem, according to the official documentation, you have to set your region to (if USA, then United States. if EU, then United kingdom, if japan, then Japan. if Korean, then Korean.) in the profile settings in settings, without any specific sub region. This solved it for me, hope it is helps.

it has been one year science I bricked my 3ds with this tutorial, so I tried to unbrick it, I realized that my problem was that I had the drive formatted wrong so I just formatted it to fat 32 and it worked. My 3DS is officially unbricked. But I still don't have the homebrew channel.
