“A meal for us lasts only a few minutes, but that meal has cost the animal their entire life.” That says it all.

It's soooo nice to hear him speak so fluently and calmly, without anyone interrupting him or arguing in circles like it's usually the case with the street debates

I’m not a vegan but this talk has really helped me to understand why I need to stop using animal products and eliminate them from my diet. Thank you Ed.

It’s been almost 7 months since I watched this video, and I’ve completely adapted to a vegan lifestyle. The only genuinely difficult part is that lack of understanding of people around me, but hey that’s not in my control. Thanks Ed.

I'm upset that the opportunity was there to call this an Ed Talk and nobody has taken it.

This guy's street interviews turned me vegan ~2 years ago and haven't looked back. Ed is possibly the best and most effective animal activist around today

I'm already vegan but I come here every now and then to learn how to articulate and respond to various arguments thrown at me. Ed is a terrific speaker!

This ted talk right here has changed my life forever. It cause me to question myself and turned me Vegan in the course of 1-2 days. I wish I’d seen this sooner, I went 16 years of my life unknowingly supporting Animal exploitation, abuse, and unnecessary slaughter. That was 16 years too long! Thank you Ed 🙏

This is by far the best speech I have ever heard about veganism. Thank you, Ed.

This sums up why vegans do want you to hear WHY they are vegan. It is not about them, it is about the animals. It is about our planet. It is about the future of human kind and it is all about compassion and respect. Thank you Ed for a great talk.

I’ve been vegetarian since 2010 and vegan since 2014, I never was able to put into words why I chose to do what I did, but calm, intelligent conversations like this make it so much easier to explain 🙏

Props to him for not using one single "shock-photo/video", no extreme descriptions of the situations in slaughterhouses or dairy production, only facts and a friendly voice. was all it took to make me honestly consider going vegan.

Ed's knowledge about this complex topic is so huge. His arguments are so well formed. His rhetoric is free from violence. He knows what he says. He stays calm. In my opinion he is a true philosopher! The world should listen to him.

I've always lived by this philosophy: "if there is no victim, then it's not a crime", and somehow overlooked the fact that the animals i eat are also beings and are my victims. I want to try veganism a shot. Thanks Ed
