Interesting long streak without an inch of rain for Seattle. Both 77 and 94 were very big fire years on the Wenatchee National Forest.

It's flat out incredible, amazing, just how high molten lava can be forced out of the earth and thrown up high into the air! Lava is a liquid mixture of rock and other elements. Rocks and other inner core elements are heavy! The heat and pressure beneath the earth's outer layer has got to be extremely hot causing it to be highly pressurized to come out as a tall lava fountain reaching upwards to 100+ feet high!

7.65 inches of rainfall in December with 7.05 since 12/13/24 in Gig Harbor. Hopefully the later half of January is wet around here.
