Ok so I know this was 2 years ago but I just wanted to say this is the first recipe that actually works and tasted good!!! The cookies are soft and so delicious I rate this 10/10 !!

Just made these for for New Years's eve. Best cookie recipe EVER! Very soft too. I added raisins and pecans. I also put some in a muffin pan and it worked very well

I made this recipe and added chopped 1C dried apple bits and 1C caramel baking bits and a tsp of nutmeg and these are our new favorite cookies around here.. Thanks for the recipe.

I just found this recipe, and these cookies are the best! 💞😘
I made 1/2 batch with Reese s peanut butter chips and the rest without. Also I used wax paper on my cookie sheet .The cookies came off real easy and was evenly browned. Thanks for great recipe and have a great day 🌺🌿

I got 2.5 down cookies fr this batch. Everyone. Complimented them. Chewy in middle. Not hard. I added raisins to some and pecans to some. Thanks for the recipe

Thank you for your question. As a general rule, you would want to use 2 teaspoons of baking powder for each teaspoon of baking soda. Happy baking!

Hi there, you can use demerara sugar in place of brown sugar. What did you want to use ground demerara sugar for, not sure it will grind in a mixer.

If you don't put brown sugar, substitute with white sugar. The cookies might not be as soft and chewy as they would with brown sugar. Happy baking :)

I made these today. Now they are on my table. They taste really really awesome! But I had to throw out 9 cookies because they were burned on the bottom. So I suggest to use parchment paper.

Great question, Cecilia. You can use oil or apple sauce instead of butter. Some people have also had luck with using mashed bananas. Happy baking!

Does anyone know if you have to use quick oats? They're not available in the country where I"m living. There's only some have ground up quick oat-type product that used for making a drink and regular rolled oats.

Of course you can omit the cinnamon. You could try substituting with another spice such as allspice or ground ginger. Happy baking!
