I was unaware Ron Paulk sold plans and have taken down mine. If I knew he was selling plans I wouldn't have released the version I modeled.

Ron Paulk, Mike. You’ve got an intelligent and loyal audience. Give credit where credit is due.

I liked the video despite the heat. Quick and easy steps not ridiculous 30min videos. Thanks Mike!

So happy to find this guy! Work on an Urban Farm Project, and we have been looking for cheap fixin on the barn. I decided we could do it with some tools? Been looking all over for a cheap worktable is it! Some of his other projects are doable for our expertise....I even like the products he advertises!

When the ad started and he talked about security, I was like, "Oh no. Please don't say NordVPN."

Mike: "That's why I use NordVPN!"

The original creator of this bench is Ron Paulk. He’s patented his design for about 10 plus years. But good build and very detailed video

It is really awesome to see another Left-Handed man using tools to build things! I am a Lefty too and I really notice the differences in the techniques. Thank you so much for this incredible channel!

Awesome, sturdy workbench! Looks great! I think you’re doing everything you can as you found out information after upload. You owned up and have done everything you can to make it right. Most would simply ignore or delete all comments. Keep it up!

Everyone flipping out on this video needs to relax. He not only credited Ron in the description and video but also removed the free plans he designed when he found out they were sold elsewhere. Does anyone flip out about crediting the first person who made a crosscut sled? How many shop project videos are remade and no one credits the first person to make it? Modern Builds made an honest mistake and corrected it. Everyone hating is upset because they have nothing better to do.

And FYI, listening to a couple adds is better any day than paying for plans or tutorials. Massive credit to Modern Builds for trying to keep everything for the public free and only charging his sponsors. People complaining about free content and free information blows my mind.

I can’t find the Jay Bates comment! His sticker came off my door the day I heard about this on the podcast. Love ya Mike!!

If you're going to base something heavily on someone else's design you definitely need to give more credit than that. Come on mate - at least edit the description to make reference and links to the Ron Paulk design.

Well done, I like it. My ADD kicked in and I couldn't help but notice the curious rodent under your airstream at 6:24. My guess is he hopes to build a scaled down version for his workshop one day.

I don't believe you when you said you didnt know Ron Paulk sold plans. I do think it was an honest oversight though. That being said, the whole "attacking" Jay on the podcast was ridiculous. You tell him to grow up, and then you start name calling. The hypocrisy wasn't missed. Overall, I dont really care about any of it. I enjoyed this video. I generally enjoy your other videos. I enjoy Jay Bates videos.

Apparently you mentioned Ron Paul’s, but I didn’t notice it, certainly didn’t mention it in the intro, where it belonged. It’s his design, after all.

He reminds me of a chef or baker, because a lot of his work is automatic, brain speed is same as eyes and hands.
A baker will say 2 cups flour, and then just dig in and dump. Same with vanilla, just pour. This hinders new bakers.
He is not hindering builders, repetition wins out.
Thanks.

Paulk style? You wait until the end of the video to even mention the man who you copied from? Wow!

Unsubscribed... this is a direct rip off of Ron Paulk workbench. Gives no credit. Mentions once "Paulk style". Not even a link to the Paulk workbench.

Hi Mike! On the cut list you add, by an error, 2 cuts of 24'' by 48'' but I counted how many cuts I need to make one and this measure is for the space between the middle boards and not a cut. On total I need 9 cuts instead 11. Please fix the PDF. Thanks & greetings from Spain.
