I’m 34 and I started religiously studying tarot, finally, in April of this year as my lockdown “thing.” I bought several excellent books, and every day at 7:00 on the dot, I pull a card from my deck after a 10 minute meditative shuffle. I then write down and read every definition.

The Magician card is hands down my favourite card, and is part of what actually drew me to the deck in the first place. You are one of my daily dictionaries!! Bless your heart! I also do readings for friends and loved ones and myself— larger weekly’s.

ANYWAY, I’m in a very magical place to me at this moment as I type this— I’m swinging in a hammock in Joshua Tree National Park (best. COVID. getaway. EVER.) Anyway, I brought my deck and my crystals, as I do 😊, and I pulled my dailies. Now, let’s be clear— out of a deck of 78, and on every day since April, I have recorded every card I pull, and I pull multiples all the type. However, NO MAGICIAN. It is the last card other than the 6 and 8 of Wands, the Queen of Swords, and The High Priestess that I have NEVER pulled. Not once. And I’ve always joked that once I pull the Magician, I’ll know I’ve finally attained my full psychic abilities.

I pulled the card last night. !!! I was drowsily and happily listening to your lovely spiel about your journey, and I literally almost fell out of this hammock @4:50 when you mention never pulling The Magician. I received my first deck (The Mythic Tarot) on or about 13 years old from my mom. I loved them but I was so young to even begin to comprehend. In 2018, at 41- I retired from the service and I picked up my 2nd deck. Since then I've been practicing (frustrations, impatience etc). To date, going into 2020, I can say I have developed intuitively so much I can't even explain where to start. I'm so grateful and excited to be able to do this because its so fun and relaxing for me. Thank you for your channel. My mom read me the cards forever . Three years ago I began reading for fun. And the the crisis for the first time I took it more serious and it’s kind of my job now.
