Yes, you are absolutely right. Raw footage from every sensor will have noise vs when it's shot as ProRes, for example. And, denoising is helpful.

Good video, but I have a tip concerning the background audio. As a general rule-of-thumb, you should choose something without a lot of high saturation as it makes it harder to focus on your voice. Something like jazz or lofi---something along those lines would be much better suited for this kind of video. I found the song at the beginning of the video with the vocal chops to be especially distracting. In other words, the background music and your voice should be in their own "pockets".

Just a tip! Keep up the good work!

Is it a must that one should know the type of camera that shot the video to be color graded?

Thank you great video. Is your manual method of converting log footage to rec 709 using the tone curve the same as using the color space transform feature?

Simple. Nice job. Can you have too mushy color grading tutorials. Keep them coming.

good stuff. If you are adding a LUT, should you still do these steps prior?

Very nice video! I have one question, why did you choose to use the curves to affect the background color and the color wheels to affect the skin?

Hi, how do you get the pivot handles to appear when you move the beginning and end curve points?

Once again, another interesting video. Though I can't exactly replicate its simplicity in my flow. I saw your 12 LUT pack...will the LUTs achieve similar results on Fujifilm F-Log, Prores, DNxHR footage?

Why first adjusting it in resolve color page and afterwards mess with the raw settings? Why not the other way around?

Whats your process for applying this to 40 different raw clips? I don't want to have to do this 40 times and try to match each one. & I'm using a master timeline so that helps but it's still a lot of clips.

It’s always a little bit here, a little bit there)). Why not to start your correction with colour space transform, that Davinchi knows what kinda footage you are working with at first place.

First of all you should expose properly, so no denoise is needed. If Raw then you can choose your ISO, hence no noise reduction needed. I never had to denoise footage shot in Raw ever. And also your footage is shot outdoor, what denoise would you need to do? Best advice is light your scenes properly, expose correctly and use fast lenses in low light.
