I went into Home Depot for a hammer drill and walked out with this router somehow haha. This is my fifth router and has quickly became my favorite. Dewalt absolutely nailed this one. I do a lot of lazy Susan’s and it is a dream to do circles and not have the cord and dust hose get tangled up. I wasn’t really sold on cordless routers until now

It is nice and I own a ton of battery tools, but my routers are all corded. I don’t see a reason to have a battery one and I know people will say, but you need them out on job sites with no electricity. But if you’re at a job site doing intricate trim work, there is electricity there by then.

It looks very similar to my DW618PKB (which you recommended, years back, thanks). But with a battery pack.

I like cordless tools (I can't count how many Milwaukee M18 and M12 tools I have), but... Can't bring myself to re-purchase essentially the same tool I already own (and with a battery system that would be unique to me.)

Nice tool, I absolutely love my 618. Hope it's as well built for longevity!

had a router kick up a few weeks ago, bored a perfect hole into my forearm that looked like a bullet hole. 1 trip to A&E then the plastic surgery ward the next day to get patched up.
