My makita 6 1/2 blade left has been my go to daily for years, light small and blade left like god intended

You should have the dust extraction hooked up. That was like $90 in sawdust with today’s prices

As an honorary Milwaukee fan boy I must admit this is cool

I have this saw, and it works really well. The 5ah powerstack battery seems to be the best all around battery for this saw in terms of weight, runtime and power.

That battery popin on is just perfect haha

Just picked this up with the BOGO deal at home Depot. Buy a 6ah and 4ah starter kit and get this bad boy free. Spent about 215 after taxes.

I’m a great fan of small circular saws. For years my favorite was an old DeWalt DW935 (5-3/8”). Used it for just about everything. I even jury rigged it to run on 18v lithium batteries. Also have a small Makita SHO1ZW (3-3/8”). For 6-1/2” I have the Flex inline saw, which I’d have to say is a very well built saw with a lot of raw power.

Haha..I’ve been trying that ‘fast toss on’ method with my saw blades and only got it to work a couple of times…still perfecting my technique! 🙃

Compare to other brand, they did backward except powerstack 1.7ah, but yet to tell how reliable that battery is. Other brand now brushless more tool on user request dewalt still trying to make brushed motor on new product( vaccum blower etc). Look at new makita 40v system tool and hikoki 36v platform with many tool range and super quality.

I like the Milwaukee m18 fuel 61/2 super light and powerful I have a corded skilsaw worm drive but prefer the 61/2 for mobility

My stanley fatmax v20 is beastly enough tbh

Better to just get the DeWalt or skilsaw worm drive, I have one of the brushed DeWalt circular saws and my boss has a Milwaukee fuel circular saw, they both bog down. If you’re serious about cutting, get a worm (or hypoid) drive.

"He just took down one of ours with a fucking saw!"

Just bought the ridgid. Watched a matchup and dewalt brushless 6.5 is mediocre in the ones he tested. Metabo was #1 but ridgid was #2. Looking forward to this lighter weight saw for 99% of my needs.

Imagine buying a new saw and not getting the standard 7 1/4 saw. Fine for homeowners, but homeowners dont need the 100 dollar 5 amp battery.
