Easy breakfast the kids will love #recipe

Cinnamon Roll Flat Cakes
Pancakes
4 cups Hungry Jack Pancake mix
2 1/2-3 cups Water

Cinnamon roll topping
2 sticks melted butter
1 cup brown sugar
1-2 tbsps cinnamon

Icing
3 cups powdered sugar
3 tbsps melted butter
3 tsp of vanilla
1/2 cup heavy cream

-Preheat oven to 400*
-Mix pancake mix and water til smooth and pour evenly over parchment lined or lightly greased full sized baking sheet
-in seperate bowl combine cinnamon roll topping ingredients and stir til thickened and smooth
-pour topping over pancake batter and mix in with dowel rod or spoon in criss cross design so evenly distributed
-bake 15-16 mins at 400
-while cooling combine icing ingredients in bowl and mix til no clumps and pour over pancakes while warm so icing spreads easier
-cut and enjoy!

I still am beyond blessed to enjoy my mothers cooking and let me tell you no fancy food could even come close too my mothers food (preference possibly) but it’s something I hold close to my heart and will continue too forever

There are so many positive’s about this video.
One is how wonderful it is, to actually see a Dad in the kitchen, first thing in the morning, making his family their breakfast.♥️
The simple things his children are learning by doing this, is simply huge.
Having some special time with his children, in this case with his absolute beautiful, sweet little girl. So very perfect, precious and special.
As an elderly neighbour of my Nana and Pops told me years ago, as I was driving her to her doctors appointment, as I had just become engaged. Anyway she told me that, yes children MAY POSSIBLY remember SOME material things, BUT they WILL ALWAYS remember the time that you spend with them. ♥️🥰
I’ve actually thought about that over the past 37 years since and she was so very correct and now my four amazing kids tell me that they remember all the times we spent with them, always taking them to their different activities etc, with OFTEN having extras in our car because so many other mums, or parents couldn’t actually make it.
So this really is priceless.
And after all, especially with his little girl, he Is her very first love and my goodness, what a wonderful example of what a real man is like and what that real man does for his family, who he loves beyond measure. Fabulous role model♥️
As a few people have mentioned on here, how he’s not cooking a healthy breakfast at all, I’d just like to say, firstly, if you don’t have anything nice to say, say nothing at all and secondly, this breakfast may not be the healthiest breakfast out there, BUT AT LEAST ALL OF HIS CHILDREN ARE ACTUALLY HAVING AND EATING BREAKFAST.
So very many children don’t.
Anyway I’ll stop rambling on. I personally just think it’s so amazing AND wonderful that this man is doing what he does for his obviously very beloved family, and I know that his children WILL CERTAINLY REMEMBER IT ALL AND THE LOVE THAT CAME WITH IT.
