"By the time you watch this episode of Talking Watches, Curtis McDowald will be in Tokyo, along with the rest of the U.S. fencing team. Fencing, for many Americans, is an exotic sport – so much so that if you mention it, you might very well get a blank stare. (I remember asking a clerk at a Montgomery Ward department store, in the 1970s, if they sold fencing equipment. I ended up in an aisle full of gear for building fences.)"

My favorite episode yet. A fantastic person who clearly has it running through his family’s history. The size of his collection versus the sentimental value is arguably a goal most of us would be satisfied attaining. My favorite of the bunch is the Tudor.

I enjoy these talking watches with interesting people that are not celebrities such as the MokiMartin episode and the tutor that went to Vietnam and David Allen The astronaut and fighter pilot

This was one of my favorite episodes next to the John Mayer episodes. I am glad for this little bonus.

Love the idea but tone down the music between every question. Especially when the responses are short.

tbh i think this Episode loses a it of the Charme which i liked about talking watches. I was interested in Curtis watches and why he chose them and the Emotions behind them, but sadly his collection wasnt really adressed in the Video, it felt more like an conventional interview for me.
