Microsoft Excel Flash Fill function explained

What is it: Flash Fill is a data tool in Excel that will allow you to combine, extract or transform data. You only need to provide a couple examples of the results you want. Excel will guess the pattern and fill in the rest of the data for you.

How to use it: Excel's Flash Fill feature will fill in the rest for you based on the pattern you provide. In this example you can build out your First/ Last name data set pulled from an email address.
