If people acknowledge acts 6 as the beginning of the deaconate and they chose all men, how does that support women deacons? Also, most Bible translations translate the passage as wives but people also revert to what it may be translated as women, which I have never seen yet. If it is not an office, why do you need qualification?

McArthur is wrong on this. While the word in 1 Tim 3:11 can be either women or wives the context is wives.
- Wives or Women in verse 11

In summary, if you take 1 Tim 3:11 to refer to wives, everything makes sense except it is contrary to our culture today. If you take 1 Tim 3:11 to refer to women you have a whole lot of problems you have to try to explain away. It is my position that these Scriptures are very clear and easily understood by anyone. They do not require special understanding of Greek and grammar to reach the conclusion that Paul intended, namely that elders and deacons are to be qualified men.

Pls, it's very wrong to interpret the Bible in your own way, because there is punishment following it. There have never been a woman deacon in the bible, a deacon must be a husband of one wife. So stop giving wrong means to the Bible. You are not the writer of the bible.

There's no such thing as a women's Deacon. Many churches as water down men office call Deacon it's extraordinary work to oversight the church of Jesus Christ who's God almighty.

All of you are totally wrong. Deacon is a office of leadership in the church. It's a ruling office. He makes decisions agreeable with the Bible and he makes it know to the apostle prophet. Deacon is an extraordinary office.its a position of authority.
