To understand why we like the Little Jewel so much you need to understad the 2 types of Jackfruits that everyone classifies them into. Crisp and Soft.
If it is Crisp then the arils are firmer and you can eat them raw without having problems swallowing. Often this type lacks in flavour.
The second type is Soft and when you eat the arils raw most people can't swallow them because they are too slippery and although the taste is amazing, not being able to swallow puts many people off.
The Little Jewel Jackfruit has the pro's but not the con's. The taste is there and it is also edible raw because it is a bit firmer.
