Recently found your channel. Really great configs you got there. I was also using Linux but missed some Window environment things so went for WSL. Would love to see a complete tutorial of your setup

Thanks for this! Learn a few nice tricks there. It's quite an interesting concept where you can basically stay in Linux if you like, and just launch the Windows exe files you need when you need them. Got some interesting problems when trying to start some Windows exe files from a shell inside Emacs inside WSL... 🙂

At my latest gig I decided to give Apple a shot, and it has been absolutely miserable. I know I can get by with WSL, but I have yet to try it full time. There are definitely some gotchas to working inside of WSL, but I never thought there would be even more gotchas to working on MacOS. Coming from a Linux environment to MacOS has been a test of my sanity. Hindsight is definitely 20/20 and if I can get a windows machine that supports thunderbolt 3 I am definitely switching.

hehe. the best linux distro is windows. you can run linux the way it should be run: in a container inside a stable OS. plus you can run windows applications from it. who could ask for anything better?
