Body positivity should be about the things you CANNOT change like your height, skin colour, facial features, etc.

I started my weight loss journey in 2019, then regained what i lost during covid, and restarted last year and have lost 65 lbs thus far. I still have 30 to go but im so happy i never fell into the body positivity movement because i garuntee i wouldve stayed depressed and fat.

Fatphobia isn't a real phobia. The fear of being ate alive is vorarephobia.

I’m really impressed with you and your channel on a serious note. I love how you react to things but yet are respectful and understanding. You’re not mean about it your just saying it how it is. I’m actively dieting and working hard to lose weight. I’m not super fat or far from what I should be but I recognize it is a problem. I’m not trying to lose my weight and get fit for other people I’m doing it so I can feel good physically. These girls who get all heated and call it fat shaming are just extremely insecure. They know deep down it’s a problem but don’t know how to lose because it’s so hard. It’s easier to accept yourself and make it look like other people’s problems. They need to be supported not degraded, they need to understand that people calling them fat is not them really being rude but the truth. Society needs to start encouraging people to lose weight so they can be in a healthy range and live long healthy lives, not encouraging these people and saying it’s ok. These days people who are actually healthy are more frowned on and told they need to gain and people who are actively obese or overweight are treated ok. Fat and unhealthy is becoming the new norm and thats what has to change.

My brother in law once grabbed one of my rolls that suddenly came about over a 2 month period and asked "what are you doing? Your clothes aren't fitting, what's wrong?" If that was fat shaming thank God he did. Cuz it woke me the f up.

Someone told them, that the weakest member rules the family unit and now try to guilt trip the world into giving into their crap

Do they know a phobia is fear?? Who would fear someone who is gay unless they come for you with a knife, or being fat phobic if someone really fat would sit on your chest... Argh crazies, I hope I dont upset spiders with my phobia

I'm 5'3 and 160 lbs. Technically, I'm "overweight" when, in reality, my weight is mostly muscle mass because I work out. Does that mean I get an extra seat next time I fly? If not, it's "fat phobic" lol. These people are so privileged. People are starving, homeless, and dying. And being called the wrong pronoun is the worst thing that can happen? Give me a break, yall. I love your channel!

THANK YOU FOR SPEAKING UP!!! So many fat positivity influencers have been dying lately too. This is insane. And yes we need more shame these days, for lots of stuff.

That Delta employee should get employee of the year...but more likely, Delta will force the employee to take "training" to be a better, submissive employee.

I remember body positivty encourage for people who, for example, had a mastectomy, being short, having a flat butt, being under 6ft tall, having burn scars etc.

NOT encouraging high cholesterol and blood sugar levels.

She can love herself as much as she wants, but she can’t force others to love her too.

As someone who was formerly morbidly obese and is now at a healthy weight, I will say that these people are weaponizing their feelings of rejection and insecurity in order to gain some sort of power they feel like they have been denied. We are seeing it in other communities too. I was also ignored by most people romantically because I was big but I never blamed others for not being attracted to me, it was my fault. You can't force people to accept you. Accept yourself.

I am overweight at the moment ... I was much more overweight untill my doctor sat me down and explained to me if I want to stay alive I must loose weight. If I didn't want my son to be without a mother and my husband a widower, I must lose weight. I am so thankful she had the courage to have that conversation. It's NOT fat phobia it's called telling you the cold hard truth. I am only about 50 pounds From my goal weight and more proud of my body now then I ever was when i was fat.

If I walk into a Target and it's loud, and the carts are clanging, and there are a lot of smells, and people moving in unpredictable patterns, and all that is stressful to me because I'm autistic, does that mean that everyone in the store, or at least the managers and employees have autism-phobia? Or is it just that those things don't bother the vast majority of people, and I'm on the edge of the bell curve, and that is my lot in life? It doesn't mean we can't decide to make some concessions for people on the edges of the bell curve if it doesn't hurt anyone, but to call it a phobia when we don't, to demand federal action, etc. is just non-sensical. And autism is NOT something a person chooses, unlike being overweight (with very rare exceptions).

It’s also always the ‘fat positive’ people preaching body positivity that shame thinner people for being thin!
