I've never understood fatphobia, if one of them tries to attack you, just run, or trot briskly. If you're near any stairs, go up. Crisis averted.

As a fat person i too have fat phobia. I have fear of my own fatness. And i am actively working to eradicate it.

As a thin woman who has always had a healthy fast metabolism let me just say that the overweight girls that i attended school with were the meanest cruelest people to me. I have never believed in disrespecting anyone upon their appearance or weight. They called me anorexic, bean pole, disgusting etc, then would turn around and constantly complain about people making fun of them when in reality i rarely ever heard them being put down.

I'm clinically obese and I love fat jokes. I'm fat because of my own poor choices, nothing else.

I remember when I first started losing weight and a cashier who saw me frequently noticed and said, "I'm not sure if I can say this, but you're looking good! You've lost weight, haven't you?" and I smiled and said that yes, I'd lost quite a bit and was still working on it. She looked so relieved that I wasn't offended and I'm still baffled as to how a sincere *compliment* of any kind can be offensive!?

I used to be 619 pounds, I am down to 270. I know I still have a long way to go before I'm at a healthy size but I am now fatphobic. Being overweight is horrible. Getting fatter terrifies me on a level I never thought would be possible. I now have heart problems over my weight and I honestly hope people start waking up. Being fat is so deadly and I'm finding out just how deadly it can be. One of my biggest regrets was getting that big.

I used to be 365lbs...a truly big girl. I would get so mad at doctors for blaming all of my issues on my weight, right down to catching a lot of colds every year. I always thought they were just being lazy. Turns out that they were right! When I lost the weight, my reproductive system went from being so sporadic to the point that I was told that I was going through early menopause in my 30s to being able to set my calendar by my periods when I am now in my 40s. I went from bronchitis and multiple bad colds every year to maybe 1 sniffles. I was starting to have issues with my bladder, and the weight loss fixed that. I was heading to diabetes quickly, and my sugar numbers are fantastic now. The doctors aren't there to make you feel better mentally...that's your job...they are there to fix your body, and your body's biggest problem is that you are suffocating all of your organs with all of the FAT. Stop trying to silence the people telling you that you need to lose weight...start listening to those voices, but make your internal voice even louder, and have that voice tell you to put down that cake, drop the body fat, and pick up a set of weights.

I must be extremely fat-phobic. I started this year on Jan 1 weighing 640lbs. I'm now down to 540lbs and falling.

Imagine going to the doctor for health concern and then getting mad when they bring up a concern about your health.

What’s funny is that with the first video, the lady used the clip of the "skinny girl" doing a suggestive dance, and then said "now that I have your attention…"
She knows the dance is inherently sexual, and will get the attention of men. Yet she says that when the fat person does it, it’s not inherently sexual.
I’m confused, does she want us to think fat people are sexy or not?

I like how they act passive aggressive and nice while they're talking so much hate not realizing they are revealing how unhappy they really are.

"It's just a woman ranting into the void"

So you do understand TikTok

As someone with a disabled body, I want to be left out of the "body positively" movement. Stop feeling sorry for disabled people, very few of us appreciate it or want to see ourselves as victims.

Isn't phobia supposed to be the fear of something? I'm not afraid of someone I could easily outrun.

When the "exercise physiologist" mentioned the girls race. That's all that we need to know about her level of intelligence, and the value of her degree.

There's nothing phobic about wanting to stay healthy and in shape

I agree, no matter what size, women shouldn’t dress or pose in provocative ways.

I got tired of being called fat so I did something about it. it took 3 years to drop 110 pounds. Everything about me changed for the better. It wasn't easy, to start but I did it doing 3 minor workouts a day, One in the morning, once after lunch and once after dinner. After three months, it just became a routine habit. I ate a lot of protein to help build muscle mass and stopped eating after 5 pm at night. I am still large but my body is not flabby anymore. Maybe I should say I work out 4 times, I do walk my street at night, a round trip is 1 mile.
