We drove a 100 year old electric car and compared it to the most luxurious EV of today.

Thanks to our friend @jaylenosgarage for sharing his car with us! And go check out his channel!

I love that you didn't use Jay as some kind of click bait like anyone else would do. I was so stoked to be surprised by that

That the 100 year old EV could do about 80 miles on a charge is mindblowing, there are modern ones that do less than that. Great to see Jay, I want his garage :)

I love how Leno doesn't just collect cars, he actually DRIVES them. Awesome video, loved seeing this collaboration.

Jay is the best. His eyes light up when he discusses cars. He doesn't just collect, he drives. I'm so glad he found his passion in life. He's probably one of the most genuine, down to earth, and generous celebrities out there. ❤ you Jay

the steering mechanism is called a TILLER. Much like a boat, the Tiller controls the steering of the vehicle. A rudder is connected to a Tiller in a boat, the linkage is connected to a tiller in an Auto-Mobile. The linkage is connected to the front wheels so that when you move the Tiller, it turns the wheels. Steering bar would have been more correct than Rudder. I'm surprised Jay didn't explain that to you. He has done several videos on the Baker apparently. Oh, that lovely trim work in the upholstery is called Carriage lace. Yeah, at that time Auto-Mobiles were more than half a Carriage. In fact in Europe they were called Motor-Carriages.

LOVED this! Thank you for posting it!

Nice of you guys to have an unknown car enthusiast on the show and giving him some exposure. That Mr. Leno sure looks like a great guy and a car enthusiast for real!

That "don't be afraid of it son" was so pure and wholesome. Made my whole week.

The Smiles on Nolan & Zach’s faces while meeting with Jay says it all - I got to meet Jay a few years back at The Rock Store, he’s one of the nicest guys out there

What a thrill for you to tour Jay's museum, but I'm sure Jay was equally thrilled to convey his knowledge to a much younger generation. Watching Zac turn over a Model T put a literal chill up my spine. He showed how easy it was to do, if the car wasn't too cold. And I love how Jay's team has restored the Baker to show it as a piece of social history, right down to the flower vase inside.

I hate seeing Jay getting older, he’s on an Attenboroughesque sort of legend level, he knows everything there is to know about cars and loves to share his knowledge.
One of the few people I wish could be around forever because I genuinely don’t think he’d ever get bored of charting the history of cars. He still absolutely lives for it, even as an old man it still brings a childlike wonder and sparkle to his eyes!

Great video! Jay's an amazing guy, has a great collection, and loves to KNOW ABOUT and PLAY with his vehicles. So down to earth, normal, natural, and a real car guy! Meet him once in passing some place years ago while he was still on TV, and he's the kind of guy who stopped and talked to anyone--always had time for others, as if you were old friends from way back. Can't say enough good about him or his collection--the fact that he shares it with all of us is STELLAR!!

Every scene being shot with a different car from Jay's collection shows just goes much fun they had shooting this. You can't not have fun when everyone in the room has the same passion.

This car is so cool. As they said, like a little living room. It is luxurious, handy and practical. Finding a parking spot seems to be no problem with this thing

I love how Jay’s just standing between them listening while they’re doing their monologues 😂

Major props to donut for getting up to the level of having Jay Leno on your channel. I'd be geeking out. Not only because you got to meet him, but you got to go to his collection and talk with him about his passion

Jay is a legend, man.

He was the most booked road comedian when he took over the Tonight Show and wasn't a purely clean (no cursing act). He "sold out" for TV-safe comedy but rather than take the cash and disappear, he's single handily keeping the memory and prestige of many of these vehicles alive. It's not just a museum; the fact he regularly drives all of them and is very generous with letting others as well is what's important.

Glad Jay is back after that bad burn in his garage. Having a legend like him on donut gives so much street cred. The ultimate car guy!
