I always thought I was stupid because I could never understand how to count money out, it prevented me from finding a job for many years, but one day I decided to get a housekeeping job at a hotel for a couple months, it helped me with my social anxiety. Then, I eventually got a new job at a craft store as a cashier. I put myself into a position to force myself to learn money. My coworkers helped me and within just two days I could count it with no problem. I blame my terrible teachers for never helping me.

Do you think you're smarter than you think? My secret is sometimes I think I'm too funny

I had all of this except the “often neurotic” part. This makes me feel more confident in my smarts! 😊

Can't believe that I actually scored 6 out of 6. My family has always considered me to be the odd lonely child, going against the norm... a source of their frustrations, but never intelligent.

Intelligent people aren't the ones who never make mistakes, smart people are aware of their own mistakes and capacities, because they are able to deeply analyze themselves and to learn from every opportunity.

I’m definitely introverted and enjoy spending alone time and I’m super empathetic towards others, I’ve never considered myself to be smart but I think this made me realize I truly am!

0:32 "And I said 'no', you know, like a liar"

Aaaah bless this man, I just recently started hearing his stories.

To anyone curious, this is taken from "The One Thing You Can't Replace" by John Mulaney

if you don't do any of these things but read this is smart in your own way and not necessarily as various videos say, you are unique! <3

Apart from intelligence, we also need a heart, and conscience. Those are essential for us to use our knowledge to live and help each other.

Despite having ADHD, I relate to most of these if not all in someway.

I personally think I’m funny (im not like the worlds best comedian or anything but i feel capable of making people laugh).

If someone is sad or mad at me, then I always try to cheer them up and care about what’s going on with them.

I’m kind of curious when it comes to new things, it really just depends on what it is and how long it will take.

I’m pretty capable of changing my personality temporarily for things such as speaking in front of my class, or just socializing in general.

I’m incredibly anxious about myself and how other people view me at all times to the point where I will actively try and keep my eye on someone that I feel is staring at me judgmentally. It doesn’t really help it at all, but it’s nice to know who that is in someway.

This comes with ADHD (at least in my experience personally), but I avoid leaving my bed at all costs for both more time gaming or whatever and to avoid socializing with my family.

Extras: I’m overweight for my age, embarrassingly lazy, and just not happy with my life right now. Thanks to your videos, I’ve realized there is still hope for me to get in good physical and mental shape. Your videos have helped me think of the future and how my current life styles are going to affect it, and that’s what I’m using to inspire myself. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart for your inspirational and informational videos.

Update: I’m proud to announce that I’ve officially dieted and have done some daily exercises around 3 times per day for a month! I’ve lost 13 pounds which may not sound like a lot, but it had made me feel so much better about myself. Also, thank you to the people giving me support in the comments.

I am defintely a neurotic loner. My autism makes me overthink a lot of things, and I find social anxiety stressful. It doesn't help that I got punished a lot for doing the wrong thing socially, or assigned more duties. I just wanted to stay under the radar, much to the annoyance of my siblings, who didn't catch on right away, but did later on.
