I'm just blown away at how honest and humble of a mechanic you are I wish I could find a mechanic such as yourself. Thanks for making these video I would have gladly paid for a service that I wouldn't have needed.

Ahmed, you hit the nail on the head ! You will make more money in the long run by being honest. Not only will that owner return again and again but he will tell everyone he knows about the honest professional he brings his car to. God bless you for the way you treat others. On a side note I'm so impressed that you find time to post videos while you are so busy starting the new business. I know you will be blessed with the success you deserve. 👍👍

I genuinely would have fallen for it if I was shown the inside of the combustion chamber like that. Thank you so very much for your enlightenment dear TCCN.

Thank you for this very educational, practical, and interesting lesson. I'd bet some of us are thinking, "You are our Car Care Hero." I have previously worked in a customer service business in which being honest with customers was something I had to be careful about concealing from management to avoid jeopardizing my job. Truly honest technicians can be hard to find - even when they would like to be honest, but are pressured to "up-sell."

Mr. Car Care Nut...you are by far the most honest Mechanic I know of. So happy to hear that this customer listens to you.

As a DIY since 1970, I really appreciate hearing from a candid and honest technician. I just finished service on my 2006 Highlander with 183, 000 miles and found it very comforting to see a professional mechanic who shares my philosophy. Keep it up!

I know you're a Toyota guy and I have a ford but i love your videos, man. Any time i see a mechanic who's willing to build trust and show that honest people exist, I'm happy. I'm actually about to take my DI taurus for an induction service soon. It's about at 50k miles and i don't want to lose it to anything ridiculous down the road.

Excellent video, as always! I totally agree with your philosophy of service only when needed and admire you for sticking to your stance! Wish there were more mechanics and more people who followed that course...it would be a better world.

This guy is the most honest straightforward auto mechanic I’ve seen on utube. His new car revues are excellent as well.

I have the 2014 2ARFE engine and 195, 000 miles, runs great, you have really taught me lots of great stuff and I’ve been applying it to the car, changing the oil every 5 k since I’ve had it, you give the best most honest advice I’ve seen, love the channel.

You are such an amazing person, especially being so honest with your customers. If I lived close to where you will be opening up your shop I would definitely be bring my Tacoma to get it serviced at your shop. It is too bad that I live about 1, 000 miles away.

I like your analogy of how a combustion chamber is suppose to look. I think of it as the same way as to looking at the bottom of a skillet. I use a natural gas stove to cook on and the bottom of the skillet over time collects carbon deposits on it and I can still read the manufacturer's name on my skillets and even though those carbon deposits are on the bottom of the skillet it still isn't enough of a build up to bother with the heat transfer needed to cook food on it. If there was a lot of carbon deposits on the bottom a skillet as some point it would interfere with that heat transfer.

I really wish there were mechanics like you with honesty and integrity. May God bless you and your family.
