Shut down "voter flexibility". One day voting, in person, with ID, with mail-in ballots only under extreme circumstances. If you don't think elections are important enough to make that happen then you shouldn't be voting.

One day voting, in person, ID required , only American citizens and mail in ballots for military and other proven circumstances.
We do it where I live and have our results in before the election night is over.

Notaries must use a stamp that includes the date when the document was notarized.

Wasn't there a case very early in the Republic, which came about because some states were holding elections months before other states. And as a result, it was determined that it was giving the winning candidate in those early elections an unfair advantage. Which lead to Congress passing the act, which specified elections would be held on the Tuesday following the first Monday in November. Which eventually lead to SCOTUS hang to define both election and election day, in FOSTER V. LOVE.

Why can’t we have a rule of no mail in ballots, period no drop boxes. Vote in person. Or early voting at the election office. Votes counted that day only.

No voting should be a semi rigorous task that requires detail and diligence. We cannot have free and fair elections if cheaters want to vote en masse after Election Day.

In my country, if a date or a dot is missing, it goes straight in the bin. Forever!! WE must make sure our ballots are pristine!
