CLIFF’S NOTES: place bowls of water around your home with slices of lemon in them. The more, the better. Leave them over night or longer. Wash the bowls out well if you are reusing them. There ya go.

I just did this last night. This actually worked. What I did was place several bowls of lemons throughout the house with several slices of lemons in each bowl. The trick is to squeeze a slice or two into the bowl and let the lemon water aroma fill up the room. I started around 12 pm and the smell was gone by 8 pm. I only painted a small area in my basement, but that didn’t stop the strong smell. So, I’m glad I did this because the smell was about to knock me out lol
