Powerwheels running 36volts dewalt batteries

Hooked two 18v dewalt batteries in series to run a powerwheels jeep on 36 volts.

Typically if its a regular battery they can be charged in series with a trickle charger but these dewalt batteries are charged in the stock dewalt charging docks.

Used spare 18v on my Pedrigo 4 wheeler, burned up 2 batteries, motors, used my warranty on motors new ones burnt up after awhile, , BUT KID HAD BLAST OVER summer!Well worth it if your kid is outgrowing it anyway.

The dewalt 18 volts run for about 10 to 15 minutes. Come to find out after a few uses... It really beats the batteries up. I toasted a few of them last season.

Mike- did she ever end up burning the motor up like you mentioned or only the batteries? Just bought my 2 year old a Range Rover and curious if I should wait a year (warranty)before swapping batteries. That way she'll have more time to learn how to drive as well. Ha. Thanks man

I put a hoover board batteries in mine both are 42.4volts each and ITS MANDATORY U REMOVE THE 1ST GEAR IN BOTH GEAR BOXES, UR TOP SPEED DOUBLES, IM TALKING ABOUT OVER 30MPH

Depending on how many volts you are going to give it you may burn the motors up. I did burn up my original motors rather quickly but I have them 24 volts. You might be ok with only 18. Good luck. Have fun!

I did this with pair of Milwaukee 18v lithium batteries and only 20 mins and motors where smoked lol but with just the 1 18v it last 30 to mins at least and cruises just fine video is one my channel
