Legend, memorized this process in no time, others just explain their process in such a messy way.

I can't believe that it was just this easy! Our teacher spent an hour and 10 minutes explaining the longest process which he says is more understandable, this really helped me

Generally when I need to know the difference between F and C is when traveling, and want to know the temperature outside, or the forecast. So, there is only a limited range of temps I’m concerned about. In this case the “horseshoes or hand grenades” mentality works just fine. If you want to know what the rough fahrenheit temp is when the temp is quoted in celsius, just double the C temp and add 30. Easy mental math, and gets you close enough to know what to expect. If the other way around, just subtract 30 from the F temp and then take half. Do the more difficult calculation when you need precision, but for a quick and easy estimate, “Double it and add 30”.
