Cool idea! It's very simple, although a bit time consuming, has few ingredients and all are easily available, while the finals result looks very elegant! Great to impress some guests or family :)

I would use parchment or foil for blind baking, not plastic wrap.

Dear God. Please do not put plastic wrap in the oven! Jesus. Typically I use parchment paper or foil for this application.
