Hi i need your honest advise and opinion\

Like so many other i am having trouble in doing the office productive work especially when it comes to MACBOOK PRO, since all MICROSOFT OFFICE does not work as desired in the MACBOOK especially the short cuts are not working at all

As in my business profession i analyze a lot of data on MS EXCEL, and i find it quite annoying while using MACBOOK

Can you suggest which should i be going for ??

The price for a Macbook Air M2 with 8GB Memory and 512GB Storage is more expensive at $1900, while the Microsoft Surface Laptop 5 with equivalent Storage and memory is just $1700.

MacBook is worse for work tasks. I used to use MacBook then I wanted to try a different PC so I bought a Surface laptop in 2019. Being a windows PC it took its time to boot up and all, but the keyboard experience on the Surface is much better than a Mac and also being a window PC it’s much better when carrying out tasks in word, PowerPoint and Excel. I bought a Mac this year. with a Mac I realized it’s very annoying because you can’t use the keyboard short cuts for excel on a Mac. They are not available even ina. Different format. Sadly I sold off my Surface laptop that was still functioning well for a measly amount that wasn’t worth it and I hugely regret. Just can’t do office work on a MacBook. It’s not designed for those tasks and the keyboard experience is horrible. I recommend getting a surface for work, I really regret selling my old Surface laptop. MacBooks faster and useless for work.

I think with regards to screen, the Macbook wins hands down. I like how the reviewer played down the Surface laptop's touch screen advantage. LOL.
