I really do love this game. I love the gameplay, the massive intersecting stages.
I love the way the different gameplay styles create a new experiences. Sonic's speedy gameplay with its smooth controls, flying around with Tails, exploring the world as Knuckles, Amy being more like a traditional platformer, Gamma's unique shooting gameplay and yes, even Big's fishing is pretty fun.
I love the game's story, it's cool, epic, funny and tugs at the heartstrings.
I love the way the different stories and character arc intersect. Sonic Team effortlessly nailed their first try. I sincerely think this is one of the greatest games ever made.
