Filming in the U.S is actually pretty expensive compared to filming in countries like Canada, England, and Scotland that subsidize film makers and allow for much cheaper filming.

I bought this Durango (the blue 4x4) from the stunt co-ordinator after they finished making the movie. It was great :)

Man, I missed my chance to be on this. I remember walking by this set every week and wondering how on earth they were going to make Glasgow look like the US. Sticking a few yellow taxis, fake street signs and an american flag isn't very convincing. Maybe some clever editing will make it more convincing *shrugs*.
