Knee Brace All Day For Meniscus Tear? #shorts

In some cases, wearing a knee brace could be helpful for a meniscus tear. But some people might feel that the brace gets in the way more than it helps. It depends on where you are in your meniscus tear healing. Early on using a brace could be helpful in reducing pain. As the torn meniscus improves and it's possible to be more active, then the brace may no longer be needed.

(This advice does not apply to those that have undergone meniscus surgery. Please follow your surgeon's instructions)

8 weeks and still walking with a cane. Physical therapist told me I should wear the brace while I'm sleeping to stabilize the knee but I don't always wear it during the day. I haven't had surgery. Doing prp.

A mi me hicieron artroscopia de mi rodilla izquierda y también en mi rodilla derecha solo que en mi rodilla derecha el menisco estaba roto y me lo reparó el doctor. Actualmente estoy en terapias de rehabilitación y mi pregunta es si es conveniente usar algún tipo de rodillera y si es así de que tipo de rodillera es el que mas me puede ayudar?
