How to download an offline route on Google Maps

In this quick tutorial on Google Maps, I'll show you how to download an offline map for the route that you're traveling to. For example, if you're traveling from Manchester to London in England, you could download the directions using your WiFi before setting off. In this way, you could save your mobile data as well as getting more smooth directions.

For anyone having problems and/or doubts:

1- If the button doesn't show up, that's it. Don't keep trying because you won't find anything to download that specific route on GMaps. I believe they removed this feature so the button won't be there if you're reading this comment. Try downloading an entire offline map for a region your route fits in.

2- If the route you want to download doesn't fit inside the max area it lets you download, you won't be able to download the route (this is stupid but that is how they made it).

3- An easy alternative is starting the trip on Gmaps while connected to wifi. When you leave, it will keep showing you the way and all the directions as long as you don't end the trip or close the app.

In Map Go The Google Account Icon
And You Will See Offline Maps On The 5th .

After Doing That Select Your Own Map And Download .Go To Downloaded Maps .Click On The Map And Press Go Button On The Bottom left .Your Saved Route will Appear. Click That . Enjoy 😋
