I DITCH Windows for LINUX and I REGRET IT???

I remember switching to linux in 2003 i think it was. We had wine, winex/cedega, crossover office and VMWare for the rest.
I switched back to windows due to education requireing too much windows software. Today i currently only really use Linux for servers.

Seeing so many people switching to Linux is kind of giving me a wakeup call, it's about time to switch again

Try other distributions like Ubuntu, zorin core for beginners

Honestly for Controller Support you need either an Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo Switch Controller if you want Bluetooth this goes for Windows to. The Bluetooth in Alternative Controllers just is bad.

That is an interesting issue with the controller not working. I have Ubuntu-based gaming pc and Speedlink Toroid gamepad with a dongle, and it works with no issue. Try maybe a gamepad with a dongle instead of BT?

Here's the thing.
Most Linux distros are pretty much the same, the only real difference is update cycle and package managers, like yesh debian is a fossil so you won't be able to game on it for modern stuff but anything fairly recent (Ubuntu, Fedora, Pop OS, Nobara, Bazzite) they'll all perform pretty much the same

try a wireless controller with a dongle like the 8Bitdo ultimate 2c. I use one on my linux steam box i built for the living room.

my xbox controller didn't work either. you have to use a windows pc to update the firmware on the controller and then it works on linux

I am currently using a windows 10 with an SSD, i5 gen 7 vpro, and Intel hd graphics (💔) do you recommend the switch to this OS or do I stay on windows 10?
And do you recommend the switch to windows 11?

bro, just use arch/arch based distro(manjaro, endeavour os, arch craft), and use grub for dual boot
