I could easily give you a 100 more reasons with my top being the cleanliest. Most streets in Kuala Lumpur are cleaner than the floors of most Hospitals in the Philippines! Why to Filipinos think it is ok to just drop their trash anywhere when they are done with it?

Malaysia has better quality food ( Malay, Indian, Chinese), people are genuinely friendly, women are wealthier and better educated, its much cleaner and not much pollution, especially places like Penang.

Malaysia is 100 years ahead of the Philippines. I watched a lot of videos of foreign vloggers in Malaysia and to this day I can't get my head around why I chose the Philippines. As my brother said, I always make the wrong decisions. 12 years ago, I was given 3 choices: Malaysia, China or the Pinoy fantasy land. Out of ignorance, I chose the Philippines because I thought Malaysia was a Muslim country and now I am paying a heavy price for my ignorance. I wasted 12 years of my life in this country.
When I see vloggers touring Clean and organized streets in Malaysia and interacting with genuinely friendly Malaysians, it almost felt like a fantasy to me because I got so used to encountering rude Filipinos and filthy streets.

Most Malaysians doesn't like this kind of comparison videos. We prefer to live our own life not bothering or comparing neighboring countries or problems. Even though most videos give more positive and advantageous towards Malaysia, it's also create hates towards us. Indonesian love making this kind of comparison videos. Ended up giving birth to jealousy then turned to hatred. Indonesian purposely provoked the Malaysian with hate campaigns and condescending comments which turns to argument and fight between Malaysian and Indonesians.

Your point about the quality of conversation is spot on. When you connect with Malay people, the men want to show you how perceptive & insightful, clever they can be, the women are demure, reserved, considered in their speech. Kinda the opposite of the Philippines where men just want to know where the next party is at & women run their mouths faster than thought.

Add general cleanliness, and the total lack of social responsibility in the Philippines...open air late night Karaoke right in the middle of densely populated areas etc.

Thank you for your kind words about our country. IMO, we are actually vèry grateful to live in asean as all asean members offers different vibe within asean country. Each members offers different type of lifestyle enabling us to explore the similiarity and differences. We definately adore the PH blue clear waters and beaches and beautiful island. For the timebeing Malaysia might be better, because of luck, locations, safe from calamities, rich resources and good overall planning. We should be gratefull and every country have a chance to prosper having the right strategy. Look at China, Vietnam, Thailand and 😊even India that is growing up fast to compete with others. Every country has a chance and no country should be arrogant to look down on others. All others within Asean will prosper together as each will enhance the others and the wealth of each will spill over to the neighbours.

Big plus is you can drive to Singapore or Thailand from KL. You have to get on a plane to go to or leave PI… or a long boat ride.

True, no problem for tourists with language and food. Safe as most people are good.

English, Malay, Chinese, Indian are languages mostly use.

Malaysia is more modern and developed nation compared to the philippines and there are no natural disaster earthquake, volcano eruption and typhoon.

My friend moved from Bohol to Malaysia. He said everything was better except dating was more difficult but a steady stream of Filipina tourists girls took care of that problem.
