This is a compilation of some of the best and funny Geico Gecko Commercials! Gecko has that SEXY and reassuring British Accent, Innit?
Gecko was debuted in 1999. But not for the reasons you may think. That year, a Screen Actors Guild strike prevented advertisers from using live actors. That was a big problem for Geico as the insurance company was about to roll out a big new television campaign. So, the animated lizard was born out of necessity. They chose a gecko because "Geico" had often been mispronounced as "Gecko."
Now, unless you live under a rock like a gecko (see what I did there? lol)- you must have seen Geico's Gecko and the famous slogan: 15 minutes could save you 15 percent or more on car insurance!
