Here’s some pertend ones I came up with.



Phineas one:


Phineas: * is in his yard workin on something, idk maybe a treehouse *

* in the next clip, he’s in his room playing with legos on the floor *
* candace walks into the doorway *

Candace: “phineas, can you please clean up some of these legos?”
Phineas: “sorry, (not right now), , I’m making somethin”
Candace: “Yes, yes you are. And that something is a /mess/ .”
Candace: “besides, you don’t need all of these legos for whatcha makin atm”
Phineas: “well, ya, but I meant I’m a bit busy atm”

* in the next clip, he’s in -the kitchen- a difernt room, drawing something *
* Isabella walks in *

Isabella: “Hi Phineas, Whatcha draaawin?”
Phineas: “a picture. Wanna see it?”
Isabella: “sure, phineas”
* Isabella walks over to see the picture *

Geico announcer guy: “if your phineas, you make stuff. It’s whatcha do.”

Ferb one:


* in the first clip, ferb is standing silently in the middle of the screen, with the yard in the backround *

* in the next clip, same thing, but with a difernt location in Danville *

* In the third clip, ferb walks into a librwry and walks up to the front desk *

Ferb: * faces front desk librarian person *
Them: * quietly of course * “hi ferb, welcome back to the Danville library.”
Them: “can you scan your library card please?”
Ferb: “sure, miss”
Ferb: * pulls it out and scans it *
Card scanning thingy: * beep *

Them: * quietly * “thanks, ferb. By the way, your one of our favrite customers”
Ferb: “Yes, yes I am”
Them: * giggles a bit*
Ferb: “giggles too*
Ferb: * walks off screen to the right to go look at/for books *

Geico announcer guy: “if your ferb, you don’t talk much. It’s whatcha do.”
Geico announcer guy: “if you wanna save 15% or more on car insurance, you switch to geico. It’s whatcha do.”



Candace one:


* In the first clip, phineas and ferb are doin stuff (which is off screen) in the yard as usual *
* candace apears in the sliding-glass-doorway *
Candace: “phineas and ferb you guys are so busted!”
* candace walks out to the front step, where Linda is, carrying in the grocries*
Candace: * drags her out to the yard as usual *
* when they get to the yard, the thing that phineas and ferb were working on disappears, as usual *

* in the next clip, Candace is somewheres (maybe in the house, maybe in the mall, maybe elsewhere, idk) and wants to show Jeremy somehing/a picture she drew for him (or something idk) *

Candace: walks off screen for a moment*
* screen cuts back to Candace, who is talking to Jeremy, who was there as well *

Jeremy: “oh hi Candace.”
Candace: “hey Jeremy.”
Candace: “by the way, I wanna show you somethin”
Jeremy: “ok.”

* Jeremy follows candace off screen for a monent, before the clip cuts back to both of them being back where Candace was at the begining of the clip *

Jeremy: (smiling) “ok, sooo… where’s the drawing/thing you wanted to show me?” * giggles a bit *

Candace: * facepalm *

Geico announcer guy: “if your Candace, you make stuff disapear by showing to people. Its whatcha do.”

Candace: * sighs *

Geico announcer guy: “if you wanna save 15% or more on car insurance, you switch to geico. It’s whatcha do.”



Isabella one:


* in the first clip… *

Isabella: * opens phineas and ferbs yard gate and walks in *
Isabella: “hey phineas, Whatcha doooin?”
Phineas: “oh hey, Isabella. Just workin on this treehouse atm I guess”

* in the next clip, phineas in is his room, sitting on a blue beanbag, (while Isabella is over for a visit I guess) *

Isabella: * knocks on his room door so that he knows shes there *
Phineas: * from behind book hes reading* (I guess you could say he has his nose in a book xD): “come in”
Isabella: * opens his room door *

Isabella: * apears/walks upto the doorway of room *
Isabella: “hey phineas, Whatcha doooin?”
Phineas: * looks up from behind book, and turns to face Isabella * “readin a book”
Isabella: “cool/ok. What’s it/the book called?”
Phineas: “uhh… I forgot atm” * giggles *
Isabella: * giggles too *
Isabella: “sorry, did I distract you a bit there (from reading/the book) (by coming in), phineas?”
Phineas: “giggles again a bit* “yes, yes you did (I guess)”
Isabella: “oops, sorry” * giggles a bit too *
Phineas: “that’s ok, i don’t mind”

* in the next clip, phineas is -eating -breakfast- -lunch- -something- -in the kitchen- sitting under/against the tree in the yard *

Isabella: * walks on screen (from the right)*

Isabella: (is standing on the sidewalk that goes around the fence of the yard)
Isabella: “hey phineas, whatcha doooin?”
Phineas: “eh, not much atm, just resting/relaxing a bit I guess”
Isabella: “ok.”
Phineas: “wanna sit down here too?”
Isabella: “sure, phineas”
Isabella: * sits down nexta phineas *
Both: * smiles *
Both: *closes eyes and take a short nap/rest under the tree*


Geico announcer guy: “if your isabella, you use your catchprhase a lot to greet phineas. It’s whatcha-”

Isabella: (now in a new/different clip, sitting/standing in the yard (with phineas in the semibackround, working on something probly):
* walks up to turns to face camera *
Isabella: “ah buh (buh) bup”
Isabella: “my line.” * giggles *

Geico announcer guy: “ok. Wanna say this part then?”

Isabella: “ok.”
Isabella: * walks up a bit closer to the camera *

Isabella: “if your me/Isabella, you use your catchphrase a lot/to greet phineas.”
Isabella: “it’s ‘whatcha doooin?’
Isabella/phineas: “if you wanna save 15% or more on car insurance, you switch to geico. It’s whatcha doooin?.”

Isabella: * walks back to where she was standing/sitting in the yard before *
Isabella: * turns to face phineas *
Isabella: “howd I do?” * giggles *”
Phineas: * turns around and looks (down slightly) to face Isabella *
Phineas: “good, and you were as cute as always.” * giggles back *
Isabella: “thanks phineas. *smiles and bushes slightly*
Isabella: * closes eyes for a moment or two and smiles cutely *
Phineas: “no problem, Isabella”
Isabella: * hugs phineas *
Isabella: * opens eyes *

Horror movie was the best but why isn’t it in this compilation?

Alright, I never really liked these commercials because the formula is just kind of lazy and easy to replicate. You can use almost any scenario involving a known figure, make it silly and slap on "if you're X doing Y, its what you do. You want to save 15 percent blah blah" It's a solid formula, but it feels cheap. If I may try some of my own examples...

Begin scenes: Thor enters a hardware store and walks by the hammer section . He looks at one, picks it up and flails it around in a goofy manner, trying to unsuccessfully summon lightning. Narrator: "If you're Thor, son of Odin, you pick up hammers, its what you do".

An American Vietnam war veteran is hiking through the forest, taking in the scenery. He suddenly spots a young Vietnamese man minding his business ahead of him. He pulls out a gun and shoots the man to death. "If you're a Vietnam vet with PTSD, you kill asian men in the woods, its what you do."

Donald Trump walks into the changing room of his Miss America pageant contestants. One of them is holding furry little cat. Donald grabs the cat and cuddles it. All the girls giggle. "If you're Donald Trump, you grab the pussy, it's what ya do."
