Based on the "anabasis" by Xenophon detailing the story of a greek mercenary army that was fighting for Cyrus II versus his brother to be king of persia. Cyrus won the battle but died himself. His army disintegrated. The 10000 man spartan army had to fight their way through 1000 miles of hostile persians to get home.

Around this time I watched "Murder by Decree" with christopher plummer and james mason as sherlocke holmes anwatson and is my favourite Holmes movie.

Spinal Tap was great.

None of these are deep cuts by any means but all of these are worth a watch. I personally didn't much care for spinal tap but office space and clerks are among my favorite movies 🤙
