In this episode of Bro Labs, We Test The Age Old Trick Of Rubbing Salt On Wounds and Figure Out If This Old Tail Really Does Help! Sadly YouTube doesn't approve of this experiment but sometimes that's the price I must pay for my hard hitting science.

Houston is over educating us every week. Truly one of the best educational channels on YouTube.

14:03 I was not expecting Mark to suddenly make a volcano on Houston’s leg and wipe that smile right off his face but god damn was it funny 💀

I like this new silly “uncut” editing. I like seeing behind the scenes or feeling like I’m getting a genuine take and not just the very best one. Love it man.

It’s crazy how you can be driving by a house and this could be going on inside

This is a great family channel. I watched it with my preschooler and my middle schooler all the time. We love how educational it is and we think that it should be taught more at school

Houston is right, it couldnt be flawed before he actually said it, I thought about it "its better to do multiple wounds, so its fresh! And not numbed from the pain before" !

For the most part, acids tend to hurt more, but do less damage, where bases don't really hurt that much, but can be extremely devastating due to many of them reacting with water, oil and fat, creating exothermic heat on and IN your body...

So acids tend to do a lot of immediate damage, but will slowly get neutralized by the water in your body, so it doesn't tend to "travel" outside of where it hits the skin. Bases can really permeate through the skin, and destroy a much larger area than was immediatly hit by it.
I once spilled a single drop of concentrated sodium hydroxide solution on my thumb, and it didn't really hurt, but after a few minutes of wiping it off with a cloth, it left a gray spot behind, which later turned into just a hole in my thumb, nearly through to the bone...
