ETH is a joke. >50% transaction fees are absurd. I can mine it for free to heat my office and it isn't even worth it. It is just about dead to me.

The blockchain trilemma has already been solved with Algorand. I don't know why ETH 2.0 is switching to a proof of stake? Ethereum is old technology and they must have realized they will be left behind.

Pulsechain is launching within the next few months... with its own dex. Forking eth to proof of stake. Gas fees... pennies. All erc20s copied and airdropped if held in your Metamask Wallet. Bridge from Eth going live after one or two days following launch. They're in testnet 2.0 right now running beautifully. This is all happening right now. If it take years for Eth to rollup they're gonna get smoked.

I've been ignoring Ethereum since it got expensive. Seems like exchanges and all old Ethereum based projects will need to start supporting Polygon.

@coinsider what happens to staking after the merge? is there any advantage to staking now as opposed to after the merge?

This was much needed in my opion, there's so much misconception out there especially with the merge suppose to fix gas fees, that we will have to at least wait 6 years for scalability for ETH. Every blockchain isn't a final product but are itterativerly getting better time by time

The only thing that worries me about Ethereum is: GPU shortage end when? Because the GPU shortage is totally Ethereum's fault.
