Find Rank of a Matrix in Seconds

Finding the rank of a matrix is easy, just reduce it to row echelon form and count the nonzero rows. Sometimes it's even easier and can be done by inspection, just count the number of linearly independent rows or columns that it has. #linearalgebra #matrix #mathshorts

The rank is the number of columns of the identity matrix you can get in your matrix, and that doesn't need trial and error, it's a straightforward process.

Why the rank of matrix E is not 3 if we look at it by the rows?

For the matrix E, is the row rank also 2?
