I needed this lol. I'm a very introverted high school senior, and none of my very few friends are going to be in the same area for university. No one I know has made friends attending the school I'm going to because of how big and isolating it can feel at times, which made me nervous. My freshman year has been really rough because of Covid. Haven't really gotten any new friends, which is alright, I still keep in touch with my friends from Highschool, but it feels really bad to hear everyone talk about how the freshman year was the best year of their lives when mine has been such a disappointment.

I'm an extrovert, but this video is very similar to how my freshman year is going. I thought covid was going to make it impossible to find friends, but every once in a while I just talk to some random dude and now I'm in a friend group of 10 people and we hang out all the time. It's really nice

i guess ive often been new to environments where other people already have their established friend groups, but starting freshmen year, everyone else has been thrusted into adulthood too. feels nice to be placed at the same level as everyone else
