I think I found out what happened to the Jeep: It's because this off roader has a rigid axle, the front wheel knocked off. And one bad thing about a rollover is that you might have been ended up being thrown off into an oncoming traffic.

Been waiting a long time to mention that a front end collision should never result in a roll like this... Even if you take into account the fact that the vehicle did its job of protecting the passengers, the vehicle has no rollover curtains (?!) and was in a *front-end collision* when it rolled. At best this car has too narrow of a wheelbase and/or too high of a center of mass to be really considered safe.

I actually knew it was gonna tip over, if you look at the 2015 model crash test, it kinda starts to lean off to the side on impact

I saw a yellow Jeep do this on a summer day in 1989 on a Toronto highway on-ramp. Going too fast while turning right on the ramp, it hit a fence end, which did this; it landed on its right side. It killed the driver and passenger … it was in pre airbag days, and they were not wearing seatbelts.

The tub type Jeep was never meant to be a passenger vehicle. It was designed as a tool. Whoever thinks different is in mortal danger. But then again, Kamikaze pilots wore helmets.

I wonder how differently that would have went if it had a full width steel bumper. Not the detachable end cap ones, but the one piece SOLID full width bumpers

Just with a little sense of humor- maybe that jeep just attempted to jump over the obstacle rather than running thru because of its high center of mass and narrow wheelbase 🤣😂
