As someone actively doing research on QDs (I'm looking at a QD suspension as I write this), this video was very interesting! It's the first time I've ever seen it discussed in one of my favorite channels, so it was a very pleasant surprise.

Although a great deal of the technical details escape me, I am grateful that this site provides timely science bulletins which - unlike the science/technology reporting in mainstream outlets - provides a much-needed context absent the hype and wild speculation that make it so difficult to put news into a reasonable perspective. Thanks for this.

It sounds like the matter replicator from star trek is more possible now than we thought, just a couple hundred years away.
Thanks for making a complex subject easier to understand.
You are the kind of teacher the world needs

if you look back at the first prototypes of Integrated circuits (ICs) they are a hot mess held together by luck, glue and the maker holding their breath. They've come a long way.

Go Aussies! Something that might be beneficial for us all!

Thanks, Anton!

As someone whose initial love of science came from chemistry but has strayed towards physics because it's more interesting it excites me greatly to hear that some of the most cutting edge physics could initially be used to advance the chemical sciences.
