“If you are on time, you are late.” Is one of the most common and my favorite sayings I hear from you guys.

Very clear, concise, and straight to the point. We need more people on youtube like this. Thanks!

Thanks for this lol. I’m 20. I’ve only ever had one job (fast food) and my dad’s getting older. Been a journeyman wireman for 18 years and i decided to put an application in. I’d love to have the opportunity to work with him before it’s too late, but I’m pretty terrified of the commitment and this video helped out a bit

On my last year of highschool and had a representative come to our school and went over IBEW and its benefits and just that basics of whats to expect when joining the workforce. I was pulled, here i am now just doing research on it and this video truly saved the hell out of that anxiousness before joining. I appreciate this video, truly.

Interviews are only make amateurs nervous. I used to weld for a union but then I quit. Unions are democrat and only reward the old slow people. I remember a lot of my buddies who worked Keystone thought they were set and then they voted for biden and now they have NOTHING!

If you have skill, an interview basically means you have the job.

I’m going to lineman school right now. Do you suggest applying when I’m finished with school or a few months before I finish?

Thanks for this video! I’m in the process of applying. I went to college and got a degree so that I could go to school and get ANOTHER degree, but the loans are just not worth it. This is the route I want to go to start my career and to start my life. God willing, I get accepted into the program. Thanks for your tips!

I’ve never seen anything with a Union take only “weeks” lol. I’ve applied to 3 apprenticeships. ALBAT took roughly 2 years to get to the interview process. SELCAT by far the fastest and it was still 9 months or so.

Is it possible for me to join local union 3 straight after trade school? Or do I have to put in a couple months of experience in the job first and then apply?

Great explanation of how to interview. IBEW Local 1 apprenticeship was exceptional. Very smart instructors.
