Transcript:
For mild carriage or mild disease it's I feel bad for a week, I feel bad for two weeks and then I get better. It looks just like any other viral syndrome. For moderate disease you're in the hospital for a few days, you need a little oxygen. You might have a little chest pain, a little exercise intolerance if you have a little inflammation on your heart, those people are going to recover fine too just like any other viral disease.

It's all the severe disease people we worry about. We know critical illness comes along with a host of problems that are difficult to recover from including memory issues, post-traumatic stress disorders, exercise intolerance, just to name a few. There's a whole list of things that people experience. One unique thing that people with this disease might experience is there are some reports of pulmonary fibrosis afterwards so scarring in 20% to 30% of the patients who require ventilation. We know that in regular ARDS, the lung disease, by six months the lungs have recovered. So it might just be too soon to tell but there is a possibility that this disease can cause more injury to the lung and more residual fibrosis than other forms of ARDS.

I'm in my second week and I'm starting to feel a little better. If you're sick right now, DO NOT GIVE UP! Stay calm, try to eat your soups even if you aren't hungry, take your supplements, specially a high dose of vitamin D, omega 3 and vitamin C. Watch your temperature (I had temperatures up to 104f the first few days) and most importantly watch your oxygen.
You got this! Your body will fight for you

I lost my sense of smell and taste last week and developed dry cough and fever. And now I am on isolation. Got swabbed yesterday and Im waiting for my result. I just hope that no matter what the result is I hope I'll get better soon.

I like this guy. I had a semi mild case. When I had it all I saw was gloom and doom on YouTube. Terrified me. Thought I was at death's door every minute. But doctors like these just stick to the facts

Interesting video. You explained the topic of post covid recovery well. Nutrition plays a key role in boosting the immune system post covid recovery and help deal with the after symptoms like weakness, memory loss and muscle pains.

The sad thing is there are people that get mild symptoms and think that COVID-19 is nothing. Meanwhile, there’s going to be some people that it hits extremely hard and may cause death. It’s January 2021and it’s still serious🙏🏾

You have just made my day by saying that people with moderate symptoms will recover. At this moment I find it hard to believe it cause my lungs are completely destroyed by covid.
