Wisconsin Republicans caught cheering voter suppression

Robert Spindell, a Republican member of the Wisconsin Elections Commission and a Trump fake elector, wrote an email saying he was “proud” about the effect of voter suppression efforts—particularly in “overwhelming Black and Hispanic areas."

This is what happens with justice delayed. The DOJ needs investigated to understand why they have slowed this to continue for years. Spindell should be in prison right now or at least coming up for trial.

We need stricter laws regarding this. I think if we made voter suppression the death penalty or at least life in prison and actually enforced it we could end all of it in a year. Once these people saw their colleagues getting punished they would be too scared to try and continue destroying democracy.

The guy who appointed him, Devin LeMahieu, got his promotion to Senate Majority Leader in 2021. I guess he's really showing his bona fides as a "real" republiCON. I'm sure they're buddies and run in the same corrupt circles here in Wi. I remember calling his office, when he was my rep, and expressing my displeasure with the soon to be and now infamous FoxConn deal. Of course he followed up with a letter telling me how great it was going to be for the state... blah blah blah.
No accountability for these creeps who gerrymandered our state under 8 years of Walker ...and THAT creep now gets a million dollar salary running a right-wing grooming org (YAF). Nice reward for wrecking our state, huh.
