This is fine we can go after the person that sent him the voter registration card too because I have a feeling that's where the problem originates.

Let's look at the big picture here. The person who signed him up to vote figured 'let's sign him up. If we're lucky he slips through the cracks and his vote counts. If not then he may do more prison time. Either way I'm ok and have nothing to lose.' This demonstrates the mentality of the people who are signing these people up and how much they actually care about their constituents.

I have cousin in Florida who did time back in the mid 90’s for battery. He can’t vote and knows he can’t fill out any forms to vote. Regardless of what he is told by anyone trying to sign him up to vote. Don’t tell me he didn’t know he couldn’t vote. Unless your voting rights are restored and have it in writing officially declared. You cannot sign to and register to vote. That’s illegal. You broke the law.

I've been approached, and since I am a felon I tell them that and continue on my way! Every felon knows they can't vote unless they undergo the process to have voting rights restored.
I'll vote when all my rights are restored.

How is a murderer not in prison forever? A life for a life.

A real man will accept responsibility for his actions and not blame others for his mistakes.

So they got a form that they shouldn't have gotten in the first place and then they lied on the form. That's against the law

Correct me if I am wrong, isn't the person that signs the registration card responsible for it's contents? And, isn't providing false information or lying on that card a felony? And they think they will win? The old adage is true, only lawyers win in court....win or lose the case, they get paid!

The only thing I can say to this felon or ex voter . Sorry Buddy you forfeited your ability to vote in a civilized society . Criminal acts have long term consequences. He knew exactly what he was doing when he voted .

If he signed his name to a voter registration form, he is guilty because he knows he is not allowed to vote and signed up!
my brother has the same situation a convicted felon and he knows he can’t vote or register to vote!

News flash: Perjury is perjury. He is a felon. He will lose.

How unprofessional that attorney was to say "what are they going to do next send him to Martha's Vineyard". I would have wanted to crawl into a hole if my attorney said that. It shows he is representing me for political reasons to get the governor and not because he believes in my innocence. He should only make statements about me and not about how he feels about the laws or the leaders of the state. It shows hidden agenda and not my innocence.

It's where we need to start next you need to go and figure out who sent them a voter registration there at fault

I mean you can't murder someone and then vote. But people are uninformed to the max. Whoever gave him the card is who should be held accountable.

1st thing is that i hope he gets off on this charge. 2nd thing I hope he thinks about who gave him that registration form and why they gave it to him specifically. Did they give it to him because he fit a profile of a Democrat or a republican? I can't say who he voted for but I can say with certainty it was a Democrat who gave him the form and lied to him about it being ok to vote. Now they want to blame Desantis for it.

If he was so surprised when he received it, why did he not check it out? They should both be in trouble.

If a key magically appears in the mail for the local bank door and safe, does it mean its ok for me to use those keys to take money that isn't mine even though I know that it is wrong?

Didn't anyone tell him he lost his right to vote after being convicted of felony? He should know the law he's been in the system long enough. Ignorance is no excuse.
