This video is priceless to me. I have just purchased the same make of motor, but 2.2Kw, and the same inverter for a 2"x72" belt grinder build. I'm clueless about electrickery and this is like a video manual. Taperlock is a great system, I've used it for a good few years and it comes with a huge variety of fittings. It's not the cheapest system but it is the best.

Oh, I was looking at one of those online the other day, I believe. A thoughtful feature was the Aluminum frame and armature, I believe. The savings in shipping should be substantial and the aluminum should keep it cool. Quality appears excellent as with the included pulley

I discovered those pulleys some 15 years ago, and have used that type ever since.

I need one of those pulleys for my S7. It's pulley is always working loose on me!
The power braking on a VFD is great especially if you are cutting threads in metric. You need to watch out the chuck doesn't unscrew itself though!!
Obviously a bit late now, but check your junk yard for 3 phase motors. I've found a couple of good ones at mine! There's really nothing that can go wrong with them other than a worn out bearing which is an easy fix.
