What amazes me is that there is only ten years between the John Lennon & Roxy music versions, 1971 & 1981 respectively the changes in music in just ten years is amazing!

I was able to hear this beautiful song very early on. I joined the Belgian military in 1981 when Roxy Music sang this fantastic song cover with Brain Ferry. I think back to the 80s and 90s with great fondness. They were great times, but unfortunately they won't come back. I live in Germany in NRW and when I drive to the Baden region I hear this version and think of the great times when everything was more carefree. This song accompanies me 400 km to my destination in a continuous loop. Thank you Gustavo for this long version

The magic to this mix starts @4:40sec with the synthesiser intro, some say it starts with the electric guitar @3:31sec, some say it starts with the saxophone @3:55sec. For me it's when I press play button!! Too many to choose from but as for the whistling, the best of the best of the best section starts at @10:30sec. Here, Bryan changes his whistling tune to different notes vs the start of the whistling... also the addition of the piano notes @10:46sec is nothing short of I can listen to this on repeat for hours.... For it is that cool... 😎😎😎😎
