My wife and I met when I was in my late thirties back in the mid nineties. It was love at first sight. She would tell me that I reminded her of Bryan Ferry, whilst I used to say she looked like Cybil Sheperd, the actress from Moonlighting. Unfortunatley we were in a motorcycle accident three and a half years after we were married. She died at the scene with me holding her hand. Now I am 70, and this song always makes me smile as I remember the two of us being drunk and dancing around our apartment to this song.

In the months after my wife's death, my world just seemed to stop and turned in on itself. I stopped living and just existed. As the months passed, I tried to make sense of who I was, what my life was going to be like, and would I ever be able to love again (this turned out to be no). During this period, two pieces of music seemed to encapsulate my feelings, thoughts, and emotions. They were Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve and Ordinary World by Duran Duran.

I often think of her, I miss her from time to time and always wonder how her life turned out. I hope she is happy….

Some identified with the mood of this movie. Spent many boring night in hotels traveling for my job. There is only so much tv you can watch and they all start looking the same.

She's smiling for a assumes its the end, when it might be the like that hit you out the blue, reminds me of moments more precious than any treasure, a look, a giggle, a smile, tilt of a head, a scent, hand resting on curves. Loves ill be forever grateful for.

I first watched this movie when I was living alone in Tokyo back in 2007 and never understood why people didn't like the movie that much. Having lived alone in Tokyo for almost a year, I understood how real this movie was. You could be surrounded by millions of people moving like water around you but yet be alone as if you were walking through a massive forest.

When two lost souls meet magic happens. Everybody should experience this in a lifetime.

Can you fall in love in a moment? Yes. Winter of 85 I had been dating this girl for a few months and we’d had a party at my house. It was the wee hours of the morning just she and I in my living room. Everyone else has either left or gone to bed. We’re a little buzzed and this song comes on. She gets up and just starts swaying and dancing so sweet and slow. She puts her hand out and takes my hand to come dance with her and it was like a lightning bolt I fell in love with her right there. 34 years later two kids and it still gives me chills when she reaches out to take my hand and dance. This song will always be special to me.

The ending was so relevant. Most people can remember that moment when you walk away from someone for the last time together..

I've often solo travelled, since I was teenager, and this film hits exactly those untranslatable emotions you feel when you share a part of the travel with someone whom you won't ever see again...

This film is like two people who were born for each other 30 years apart, having the chance to live their love story for a short time, it is true love, love imposible but real life love.

Just wonderful real music. I'm 72 and I was lucky to grow up with magnificent tunes like this. Great memories unlike the fake music of today. I love you tube for helping me find music I missed and letting younger folks hear these tunes.

Connection exists. It doesn't matter names, ages, places.. It needs only two souls.
