It actually would be really cool if the gym leaders would have a different team depending on how many gym badges you have. And you could choose what order to fight them in. That would be super awesome! And helpful for some beginners because if they haven)t played much Pokémon before they could go against whatever gyms their starter is most affective on first, so they can fight the other gyms when they are better at the game, stronger, and have more Pokémon and more knowledge of the game!

This is literally what i've always wanted from the franchise. Go to any region around the world, fight any gym leader, and scale it to some combination of highest party level and your badges in that region. I want to be able to fight any gym leader at any badge level and travel the whole pokemon world. The random encounters and trainer battles are much harder to scale around this though
