Pastor Joel Osteen, you've changed my life. I didn't know about you till September 2017. I was going through so much difficulty applying to a good college to study my A levels - I personally went to so many colleges and called over 135 colleges in my city and neighbouring cities - all colleges said no for various reasons and refused to grant me admissions. I had completely given up hope and my parents and I were depressed - I was drowning and was dragging my parents with me. One day while flipping through channels on the television, I saw you speaking (somewhere in SEPTEMBER) and your talk "God's got this" (originally released on 27th August 2017 - my birthday) gave me hope - I prayed and prayed and had faith in God for a very long time - I still continued receiving rejections. The day I gave up all hope (13th October) I finally got admissions at a college. I spent 2 years there - with wonderful teachers studying the subjects I'm passionate about.

I graduated from the college and applied for medicine at several universities - however all of them rejected me. However, I kept praying and having faith and believing in God and even listened to your talks.

I kept praying and believing, however I lost hope today and couldn't be positive anymore.
I heard your talk on don't settle for less this morning - and while listening to it, I kept thinking "God, I did my best, I prayed, had faith, but I'm not getting accepted for medicine".

I felt really sad while listening to your talk, since I wanted to be positive but I couldn't as there was no good news about my medical application for over a week.
Today evening, I received an email from the university saying that they'd accepted me for dentistry.

I know that there are a lot of controversies about you regarding the floods - but I just want to take this opportunity to thank you - for teaching me how to pray, for teaching me the correct way to have faith. You have changed my life - God bless you. I've been less depressed and less anxious after listening to your talks. Please continue preaching.
